Our Mission

Appreciative Inquiry is a revolution in thinking aimed at looking at what works in communities, organizations and our relationship with nature. It is a philosophy and a method of discovering and maintaining a positive “inner dialogue” that leads to beneficial actions.

Our thoughts and actions do affect reality, so how can we apply visionary inspiring thoughts and actions to how we work together.

Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is about - valuing; the act of recognizing the best in people or the world around us; affirming past and present strengths, successes, and potentials; to perceive those things that give life (health, vitality, excellence) to living systems.

Appreciative Inquiry Four-Part Cycle

Appreciative Inquiry Four-Part Cycle

AI has an exceptional and proven way to transform culture, attitudes, programs, organizations, work styles and learning.

It has been used for: small communities coming together to work for change; small organizations in their strategic planning process; and, organizations with thousands of employees to change their competitive culture to one of greater cooperation.

WellKind staff have been trained by the creator of Appreciative Inquiry - David Cooperrider.*  (David Cooperrider, PhD, internationally renowned for his work which helped catalyze today's strengths revolution in management, has been named the next Peter F. Drucker Distinguished Fellow for his contribution to the field of management.)

Even the Dalai Lama uses the AI process. After bringing together leaders of religions around the world that resulted in the creation of the United Religions Initiative, the Dalai Lama now uses the AI process in his own programs.

Then Begin to :

Appreciate “What is”;

 Imagine “What Might Be”;

 Determine “What Should Be”;

Create “What Will Be”!
